The Geodesign Card game. Bruno de Andrade developed and implemented The Geodesign Card game during his PhD studies at the Federal University of Minas Gerais in Brazil. The game enables children to explore and learn about the current urban planning situation in a small town Tirol in Brazil. It is a role-playing game in which children take on different roles such as for example the major, professor, farmer, merchant, and the community. In the next step of the play they form coalitions and discuss the future development of the city.

The game enables the players to take on an adventure, explore landscapes and learn about their diversity. It is located in Ouro Preto, a historical UNESCO heritage town in Brazil. The game is implemented in a digital form in Minecraft game environment. It also includes challenges which help children to learn about the concepts of landscapes and geodiversity.
